What are Tailor made trips?

Our goal is to assist you to engage with a destination and realize your choice of experience in comfort and safety. How close to nature or how real an experience is your choice. We offer, Tours Off the beaten track, custom made, designed on a specific theme, concept or interest. Range of activities and experiences across the globe from Yoga in the Himalaya to Safaris in Kenya and Botswana. We understand that the experience of Adventure varies from person to person. Hence we have a range of Tailor Made options providing you with your right blend of Adventure, Luxury and Comfort without diluting the experience.
The standard of accommodation we use can vary from excellent 4 to 5 Star hotels to basic high mountain refuges. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character, although in some areas this may not meet standard “Luxury” expectations.
Luxury – is a relative term when it comes to travel in the wild. For example while camping in the Himalayas a buffet spread of local & continental food and clean toilet tents could be considered a Luxury. So could returning to basic but neat and clean rooms/cabins at the end camping trip.

Are there age restrictions?

Adventure Tours have minimum age restrictions. In Theory is no upper age limit on any of our trips. You will need to ensure you have the appropriate fitness , medical clearance and any required skills detailed during your interaction with our consultants. We offer tailor made options for families and groups with participants of mixed age and abilities with special consideration to safety and comfort without diluting the experience.

Accommodation

Accommodation on twin sharing/ single supplement as per your requirement.

Transportation

Transport by road from the nearest airport. We also organize domestic flights/internal flights where required but these are charged separately. It is not compulsory to book these through us. Our travel consultants will suggest the most convenient and economical option to book these.

Meals

Our consultants will ensure you enjoy local cuisine in hygienic and standard places. Wherever practical all meals will be provided within the cost of the trip. The final itinerary will clearly indicate where you may need to buy your own food. For all camping trips a kitchen crew with equipment will be accompanying you.

Other Special requirements – Our tour consultants will make it hassle free for you by taking into account special requirements on food, poojas and offerings, personal ponies/portage etc.

The cost would not include :

Cost of visas, vaccinations, tips for porters, guides and other staff, bar bills, drinks with meals, hotel refreshments, laundry, telephone calls, souvenirs, meals other than those specified in the relevant trip dossier, entrance charges to some historical sites, certain national park and temple/monument fees - as highlighted in the itinerary , travel insurance, emergency evacuation by land or air , personal clothing and equipment, foreign airport taxes, excess baggage charges.
